once we were two slightly misunderstood I've seen you cry, rage and spread your love the best that you could now we are five a bed and hearts that are full my brown eyes took in all that the years claimed for themselves I've seen unbridled anger and joy up close I’ve seen the world from afar through a lowered window on Friday mornings from the seats of a van enthralled in the sounds I don't quite understand I nudged you with my head an apology soft a growl from beneath my mom's side of the bed I remember my youth a lifetime ago that room I was sent when I ran and I strayed every night down the hall I walk suspect and slow suspicious of shadows in that door half-way closed you'd like to think I forgive you your intermittent absence my conception of time so imperfectly bent against the constructs of man the freeway's white hum I will be here looking and thinking searching and strong when the day is done I'll rest when I'm tired in the afternoon sun curl up and wait for you with your multiplied lives I smirk slyly in warmth of the days passing by the slow march of time drawn away from me by a song we're all that we have and never know what it is until it's perfectly gone

a perfect showcase for extreme technical mastery, but unlike almost every other band at this level, the complexity and skill is not the point at all, everything is so focused on expression, emotion, energy... Converge is untouchable Giles

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

Shoegaze overdosing on meth and caffeine pills. Every release on Cloudrat's discography is a different flavor of insanity. This one is rocky road with a twist of antifreeze. Ghuughra
