The case of Sacco and Vanzetti is well-known and is an incident that cuts to the core of status-quo power versus radicalism and human rights. Although it occurred nearly a century ago, this seven-year case sought to make negative examples of these immigrants as everything undesirable in white, Anglo-Saxon Protestant society. Instead, it signified the first of many political scares over radicalism in the U.S., and a moving terminus in the lives of two men at the union of anarchism, empathy and dignified determination.
lyrics
grinded down night and day
a railroaded practice to serve the greater public
to provide another body in the casket of consciousness
an acceptance of a failed jurisprudence
and the off chance we deliver the civic duty to bear witness to our collective mistakes
where every footstep was laid
with pride and persistence
and that whimsical notion of dedication
I never knew
I never heard of anything so cruel
I never read in history
of anything so cruel

I don't mean to be a "first albums only" elitist or anything of the sort since I didn't even discover these guys til maybe a year and change ago, but truth be told- the demo tracks are my favorites despite Deafheaven's undeniable growth and evolution into a broader sort of awesome. satangutsandchristcorpsepaint

Punk rock has gone stale with kids trying to relive a generation they were never part of, while Dangers try's to break free from the generic reproduction of radio friendly punk immacculate_vibes
